Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic that can impart highly uniform smoothness on the whole even to a hair different in the degree of damages. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic comprises at least an acylarginine, a diester of a dibasic acid and a cationic surfactant. Preferably, the hair cosmetic further contains an ester of a tetrahydric sugar alcohol or a dimer thereof with a fatty acid.
