STEERING CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device having reduced electric power consumption. SOLUTION: The steering control device is provided in a housing, and includes: a valve control mechanism for controlling a control valve with use of operating fluid supplied from operating fluid supplying equipment; a communication passage communicating between the valve control mechanism and the operating fluid supplying equipment; and a solenoid valve provided on the communication passage, which controls switching the communication passage between communication state and shutoff state based on the travelling condition of the vehicle or the driving condition of the driver, and turns the communication passage to the shutoff state when energized, and to the communication state when not energized.
