Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use portable communication device capable of retaining, for example, a large display area or a space to allow a large button to be mounted, while maintaining ease of transportation. SOLUTION: The portable communication device includes a first chassis, a second chassis foldably joined to the first chassis, and a third chassis foldably joined to the first chassis. It is possible to cite, as such a device, a portable communication device in which the third chassis is joined to the first chassis so as to be folded over the second chassis folded over the first chassis. In this portable communication device, the first chassis and the second chassis may each be provided with a display that is exposed when they are in an unfolded mode. These displays are preferably arranged to allow their regions to be formed continuously in a mode that the first and the second chassis are unfolded.
