Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency power amplifier that increases a reflection level of a second-order harmonic wave and further improves power efficiency of a Doherty amplifying apparatus by eliminating power loss due to a parasitic capacitance. SOLUTION: The high-frequency power amplifier includes a harmonic wave generator 32 for generating a second-order harmonic wave in a Doherty amplifying apparatus, a variable phase shifter 33 for adjusting a phase of the generated second-order harmonic wave, and a variable attenuator 34 for adjusting amplitude of the second-order harmonic wave. A composite signal formed by injecting the second-order harmonic wave into a fundamental wave signal is made as an input signal of a carrier amplifier circuit 6 including a harmonic wave reflection circuit 64.
