DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING CREATION OF ASSEMBLY DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage arrangement information of components at the time intended by a designer so that displacement of the components can be detected and corrected, for example, while taking advantages of using constraint conditions. SOLUTION: When an input unit 20 inputs information of an icon click in a CAD system 1, a receiving section 31 receives information of the click operation in a processing section 30, and a storage section 32 stores the position and angle of geographic data indicating the three-dimensional geometry of components as absolute arrangement information calculated with reference to the absolute origin into a storage section 40. Then, when an updating section 33 updates geographic data arrangement information on the basis of relative arrangement information indicating constraint conditions in assembly data, the updating section 33 instructs a display data output section 35 to display consistency/inconsistency with the stored absolute arrangement information on a display section 10, and a correcting section 34 corrects the updated geographic data arrangement information on the basis of the stored absolute arrangement information.
