FIELD-EQUIPMENT ENGINEERING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a field-equipment engineering apparatus for generating engineering information of one segment, and for downloading the same engineering information to field equipment of the other segments. SOLUTION: The field-equipment engineering apparatus is configured to download engineering information generated by executing engineering, including physical path assignment defining the connection of field equipment to a field bus, with respect to the field equipment connected to the field bus is provided with: an engineering means for generating engineering information generated by executing the engineering excluding the physical path assignment; and a physical path assignment means for acquiring the engineering information and for executing the engineering of the physical path assignment, and for downloading it to the field equipment.
