| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film removing method for uniformly and efficiently removing a resin layer formed at the end portion of a developing roller with laser irradiation out of a resin layer formed on a base body by immersion-coating, and containing particles such as carbon black. SOLUTION: The coating film removing method comprises: applying a coating liquid containing the carbon black to a developing roller shaft in the immersed state and forming the coating film; and rotating the shaft and irradiating the coating film formed at the end portion of the shaft with laser light to remove the coating film.
