SOLUTION: Pad members 40aa, 40ab of this moisture separation heater 1 constrain round-shouldered deformation of a tube bundle side plate 34a, and are disposed so that 0.2≤L1/L, and L2/L≤0.4 are satisfied, when the total length of a straight tube part 18a is L, a distance from the pad member 40aa disposed closest to a heating steam header 16a to an end part at a heating steam header 16a side, of the straight tube part 18a is L1, and a distance from the pad member 40ab disposed closest to a bent tube part 19a to an end part at a bent tube part side 19a, of the straight tube part 18a is L2.
