Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the dispersion of loads between a plurality of jack bolts for supporting a sole plate within a prescribed range without depending on the skill of a worker, in a method of setting the sole plate for installing equipment. SOLUTION: The loads applied to the plurality of jack bolts 6 for supporting an underface of the sole plates 5 are obtained from a strain amount of each support piece 2 insertion-arranged between the sole plate 5 and each jack bolt 6. A required adjusting height of each jack bolt 6 for bringing the dispersion of the loads between the jack bolts 6 within the prescribed range is obtained based on the load applied to each jack bolt 6.
