Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which permits initial setting during imaging processing in the image forming apparatus and, at the same time, permits printing according to initial setting which a user wishes. SOLUTION: The initial setting 301 for storage which is the up-to-date initial setting set by the user and the initial setting 311 for reflection used for printing operation are stored on a RAM of the image forming apparatus. When the user changes the initial setting 301 for storage during the execution of the imaging processing based on a printing job JA and the initial setting 301a1 for storage after the change contains an item used for the imaging processing, the changed initial setting 301a1 for storage is duplicated onto the initial setting 311 for reflection when the imaging processing based on the printing job JA is completed.
