CUTTER FOR PIPE CONNECTION PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive cutter for a pipe connection flange, which is easy to mount on and dismount from a pipe or a flange, and easy to carry, and can efficiently and correctly cut a welded part of the flange provided on a pipe connection part, irrespective of a diameter or an installation orientation of the pipe. SOLUTION: The cutter for a pipe connection flange includes: a body 1 provided to be movable in a direction of an arrow C on the outer peripheral surface of the flange 18; an end mill 3 driven by an air motor; an endless chain 4 wound around the outer peripheral surface of the flange 18; a sprocket 5a and a roller 5b pivoted with holders 6 and 6 and engaging with the endless chain 4; a decelerator 7 for transmitting the driving force of an electric motor to the sprocket 5a; an end mill gear for advancing/retreating the end mill 3 in a direction of an arrow A by operating a handle 8a; and movement supporting rollers 9 and 9 pivoted with roller holders 10 and 10 so that they can engage with the flange 18.
