Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactify a filter device by exercising ingenuity on a structure of the filter device while simplifying engine control. SOLUTION: A filter device 1 for hydrocarbon adsorption, particularly an air filter device, is provided with a filter housing 2 having at least one filter element 3 containing active carbon inside, and an end plate 4 biased toward the filter element 3. The end plate 4 is formed into a flow path structure having one radial inflowing opening 6 and at least one axial discharging opening 7 together with the filter element 3 and the filter housing 2.
