Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for producing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid from alcohol, olefin or α,β-unsaturated aldehyde with high productivity, to provide a method for producing the catalyst for producing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and a method for producing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid. SOLUTION: The palladium-containing catalyst for producing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid from alcohol, olefin or α,β-unsaturated aldehyde contains palladium and rhenium as catalyst constituent elements and, preferably, further contains tellurium as a catalyst constituent element.
