Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a power supply apparatus which can detect welding of a relay while preventing or suppressing increase in circuit size and cost. SOLUTION: When power supply is started from an external power source to a control unit by turning on a breaker (#1), a time counting section counts an elapse of time from the power supply start time (#2), and when the time counting section counts a preset elapse of time (#3), a relay welding detecting section detects the output voltage of the capacitor (#4). The relay welding detecting section compares the magnitude of an output voltage with that of a threshold value, and when the output voltage is larger than the threshold value (YES in #5), it is determined that there is welding at least in either of a main relay and the rush current preventing relay (#6), and a notifying section notifies the determination (#7). On the other hand, when the output voltage is less than or equal to the threshold value (NO in #5), it is determined that there is no welding in the main relay and the rush current preventing relay (#8).
