Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling a frequency variable filter circuit, calculating a capacitor bank capacitance value corresponding to the frequency of reception signals, by simple operation processing, and also to provide a receiving apparatus. SOLUTION: For the center frequency of a frequency variable filter comprising a resonator circuit of an inductor L1 and a variable capacitance means comprising a capacitor bank 11, the capacitance value Y of the capacitor bank is indicated by using equation (A): Y=A×(α-X)n+B×(α-X)(n-1)×C(α-X)(n-2)+...+β (in the equation (A), X indicates specified frequency data, Y indicates the capacitor bank capacitance value, α indicates an offset frequency coefficient, β indicates a correction coefficient for correcting frequency deviation to the upper limit or lower limit frequency of a frequency cover range, A, B, C, ... indicate a correction coefficient for correcting the frequency deviation of the center frequency to the specified frequency, and n indicates a positive integer ≥2, respectively) for the specified frequency, and by determining the coefficients α, β, A, B, C, ..., the center frequency of the frequency variable filter circuit is adjusted.
