Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color photosensitive composition exhibiting a high developing rate and a large development latitude and preventing chipping in a pattern even when the composition has a high pigment concentration; to obtain a color filter having favorable color characteristics of high color purity and high contrast, and high productivity by using the above color photosensitive composition; and to provide a liquid crystal display device displaying a sharp image with high luminance by using the color filter. SOLUTION: The color photosensitive composition contains (A) a halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment, (B) a yellow pigment, (C) a polymerizable compound, (D) a binder resin, and (E) a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the (C) polymerizable compound has a hydroxyl group and a double bond density of 9.6 meq/g to 11.5 meq/g.
