Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an inexpensive and simple method and device of high throughput for evaluating a subcorneal intercellular lipid structure. SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the subcorneal intercellular lipid structure of the outer layer of the skin includes a step of obtaining the total transmissivity of a biotissue sample. The device for evaluating the subcorneal intercellular lipid structure of the outer layer of the skin includes a white light source, a holder of the biotissue sample, a condenser and a photometer, and the white light source, the holder of the biotissue sample, the condenser and the photometer are arranged so that only the light, which is emitted from the while light source to be transmitted through the biotissue sample held to the holder, may be guided to the condenser, and the intensity of the light guided from the condenser may be measured by the photometer. In the evaluation method and device, there is a case that the biotissue is an epidermal subcorneal layer and there is a case that the biotissue sample originates from skin tissue kept under culture.
