Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-structured bearing structure of an internal combustion engine which surely discharges foreign matters contained in a lubricating oil. SOLUTION: In the bearing structure of the internal combustion engine in which a split annular bearing metal 3 is sandwiched between a shaft member 1 and a bearing member 2, oil passing holes 33 communicating with the shaft member 1 and the bearing member 2 are opened in the bearing metal 3. Discharging holes 4 opened in the direction of the side surfaces of the bearing metal 3 are provided continuously with the oil passing holes 33. The foreign matters contained in the lubricating oil are guided from the oil passing holes 33 to the discharging holes 4 and discharged in the direction of the side surfaces of the bearing metal 3.
