IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change a position for releasing a clamp during forme ejection according to recording processing conditions without making a constitution of an apparatus complicated in an image recording apparatus. SOLUTION: The image recording apparatus 1 includes a front clamp bar 21 and a rear clamp bar 41 which are installed in a drum 2 for holding a machine plate P in a wound state and fix the front end Pa and rear end Pb of the machine plate, respectively, and a front opening/closing plate 8 and a rear opening/closing plate 9 which carry out opening/closing actions of the front clamp bar and the rear clamp bar, respectively. When image recording processing to the machine plate satisfies prescribed processing conditions, and the winding of the machine plate to the drum is released, the opening/closing action of the front clamp bar 21 is carried out by the rear opening/closing plate 9.
