Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing apparatus which has no need of adding unnecessary ions and components, and also can swiftly remove phosphorus in human waste drainage, and to provide a method for efficiently removing phosphorus in human waste drainage. SOLUTION: The removing apparatus is provided with: a metal elution member at least comprising iron, a carbon material in which a part is contacted with a part of the metal elution member, and which has electric conductivity; and a precipitation removing means of removing the metal elution member and precipitates precipitated on the surface of the carbon material. Further, the method for removing phosphorus comprises: a stage where a part of a metal elution member at least comprising iron is contacted with a part of a carbon material having electric conductivity in human waste drainage so as to elute iron ions from the metal elution member; a stage where the eluted iron ions and phosphorus in the human waste drainage are reacted so as to precipitate a phosphorus compound; and a stage where, in the precipitated phosphorus compound, precipitates precipitated on the surface of the metal elution member and the carbon material are removed by the precipitation removing means.
