Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing saccharides by which the saccharides can be produced from bark of wood-based biomass with a mechanical crushing treatment needed as a pretreatment in reduced energy in a state enabling to promote the enzymatic saccharification of crushed barks without a chemical giving large loads to the environment. SOLUTION: The method for producing the saccharides from the bark of raw material includes a warm water treatment step for subjecting the bark of raw material to a moist treatment with warm water, a mechanical crushing treatment step for mechanically crushing the treated bark from the warm water treatment step, a fungal treatment step for treating the crushed bark with a white decay fungus, and an enzymatic saccharification step for saccharifying the fungus-treated bark with an enzyme.
