Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document camera having a better portability than a conventional document camera. SOLUTION: The document camera 100 includes: an arm unit having a first arm portion 130 with a camera at its top end and a second arm portion 120 supporting the first arm portion 130, with the first arm portion 130 and the second arm portion 120 being able to be folded; a concave housing 114 for housing the arm unit in a folded state when not in use; and a body portion 110 having an operation portion 112. When not in use, the arm unit is housed in the concave housing 114 with the first arm portion 130, the second arm portion 120 and the body portion 110 being folded in a Z shape, and when in use, the arm unit is used with the first arm portion 130 and the second arm portion 120 being unfolded in a reverse L shape.
