INDIRECT LIGHTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indirect lighting of thin type having a simple structure and easy maintenance. SOLUTION: The indirect lighting 1 is composed of a transparent base plate 3 with sharp cut-out parts 4 cut and provided on a surface side, a light source 2 arranged on right above the cut-out parts 4 on a rear surface side of the transparent base plate 3, an irregular reflection means 5 arranged on the rear surface of the transparent base plate 3 and installed to an area except the light source and the cut-out parts 4 just adjacent to the light source. The peripheral face 4a of the cut-out part 4 is of a slanted shape, and its slanted angle is an angle which performs total reflection of the light emitted from the light source 2 right downward and also performs total reflection of the reflected light by the surface of the transparent base plate 3 and/or is an angle which refracts toward the rear surface side of the transparent base plate 3 by the peripheral part 4a of the adjacent cut-out part.
