Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load accompanied by use of a generator in a database system. SOLUTION: There is provided a database management method by a database management system using an FES2 for receiving a processing request from terminal equipment 1 to a database and a BES4 for controlling access to a database in a storage device 5 according to an instruction from the FES2. The FES2 calculates the load evaluation value of a DB storage area 55 based on the number of generators and chart data 52 already arranged in DB storage areas 55 for each DB storage area 55, and determines the DB storage area 55 whose load evaluation value is low as the layout destination of the generator.
