DATA TRANSFER DEVICE, DATA TRANSFER CONTROLLER AND DATA PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To copy stream data between devices at high speed, in a digital apparatus including storage devices such as an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and a semiconductor flash memory. SOLUTION: The stream data processor includes a host part, and a stream data transfer control part between the storage device and a general-purpose device. The stream data transfer control part includes: a non-stream I/F part, a stream I/F part, a buffer, a controller part, a local buffer, a buffer I/F part, a storage I/F part, a general-purpose I/F part, and an I/O control part. The I/O control part of the stream data transfer control part includes a data transfer part. The data transfer part of the I/O control part transfers the data between the storage device and the general-purpose device by use of the local buffer without using a bus based on an operation request instruction from the control part.
