CLEANING DEVICE, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device used in an image forming device, the cleaning device preventing removal of the toner left after transfer and leveling of lubricant from becoming insufficient because a minute clearance occurs between a tip part of a rubber blade provided, in a sliding contact manner, on an image carrier and a surface of the image carrier when temperature is low. SOLUTION: The cleaning device includes: the rubber blade 14h for leveling, for leveling the lubricant applied on a surface of a photosensitive drum 11; a temperature measuring part 14m for measuring temperature of the rubber blade 14h for leveling or in its vicinity; and a heating part 14n for heating the rubber blade 14h for leveling. The cleaning device further includes a temperature control part 14p for heating by using the heating part 14n to let temperature to be measured reach the set temperature when the temperature measured by the temperature measuring part 14m is lower than the set temperature set in advance, thereby preventing the characteristics of rubber of the rubber blade 14h for leveling from being deteriorated at low temperature.
