Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a particulate composition, by which the particulate composition containing live bacteria sealed in a high content in good storage stability, and applicable to wide uses including foods and medicines, can industrially be produced in high production efficiency without using the live bacterium bulk powder dried by lyophilization or the like. SOLUTION: This method for producing the live bacterium-containing particulate composition is characterized by suspending an aqueous phase containing a water-soluble vehicle, the live bacteria and water in an oily component and then removing water in the aqueous phase in the oily component to obtain solid particles.
