UNDERCOVER DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an undercover device for a vehicle for introducing travel wind from an opening part during low speed and reducing air resistance by closing the opening part during high speed. SOLUTION: This undercover device includes a fin 14 suspended from a support member 20 on a vehicle body upper side of the opening part 16 provided in an undercover 12 by an elastic member 22. During stopping of a vehicle and during low speed traveling, the fin 14 is suspended on the opening part 16 by the elastic member 22, and introduces travel wind into the opening part 16 by accelerating an air flow by a lower surface shape. During high speed traveling, the fin 14 is pulled to a vehicle body lower side by downforce generated in the lower surface shape and is moved to a place for closing the opening part 16, to improve traveling stability by downforce, while reducing air resistance by making a vehicle body lower side surface of the undercover 12 substantially flat.
