IMAGING APPARATUS, PHOTOMETRY METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which a photometric operation can be effectively performed, by eliminating wanted times in the photometric operation using an imaging element. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 is provided with the imaging element 101 for generating an image signal regarding a subject image; a signal adjusting part 622 for optimizing the period of a control signal for controlling the operation of the imaging element 101, according to the exposure time of the imaging element 101; a photographic control part 621 for sequentially executing a plurality of exposures of different exposure times, for each period of the control signal optimized by the signal-adjusting part 622; and a photometry control means for performing photometry, on the basis of each image signal acquired by the imaging element 101 by the plurality of respective exposures.
