Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery generating no abnormal heat resulting from internal short-circuit and having excellent safety, by preventing internal short-circuit from being caused in the battery even if the nonaqueous secondary battery is accidentally crushed. SOLUTION: A positive electrode 4 in which a positive electrode mix layer 4B is formed on a positive electrode collector 4A, and a negative electrode 5 in which a negative electrode mix layer 5B is formed on a negative electrode collector 5A are wound or laminated through a porous insulating layer 6 to form a group of electrodes 8, and the tensile elongation percentage of the positive electrode 4 is made 3.0% or higher. The negative electrode collector 5A has an exposed portion where the negative electrode mix layer 5B is not formed, and the exposed portion is covered with an insulating protective member 10.
