Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lithium secondary battery using active material particles containing silicon as a negative electrode active material, capable of improving charge-discharge cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: In the lithium secondary battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution, the negative electrode is constituted of: a current collector; a first layer which is formed on the current collector and composed of an active material layer containing active material particles with silicon and a polyimide resin; and a second layer which is formed on the first layer and composed of a conductive carbon material and a binder.
