Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator suppressing browning of fruits and vegetables stored in a vegetable compartment and including the vegetable compartment for preserving freshness of the fruits and vegetables over a long time. SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a refrigerating compartment, the vegetable compartment and a water supply tank arranged within the refrigerating compartment. The refrigerator further includes: a water supply pipe communicating the water supply tank with the vegetable compartment and supplying water to the vegetable compartment; a heating means for heating supplied water by the water supply pipe; a fine particle generating means for making supplied water heated by the heating means become fine particles; and a spray means for spraying the fine particles generated by the fine particle generating means to inside of the vegetable compartment.
