Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm type compressor having good sealing performance as well as sufficiently improved fatigue strength. SOLUTION: The diaphragm type compressor includes a diaphragm 14 fixed with its peripheral edge clamped. The diaphragm 14 is formed of a titanium alloy, and has a stress imparting portion 14a on at least the inner periphery side near a fixed site 17 for thrusting a thrust roller over the peripheral direction to impart residual compressive stress thereto.
