STEAM TURBINE FACILITY, AND METHOD OF OPERATING FEED WATER PUMP DRIVE TURBINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply necessary steam to a feed water pump drive turbine even when turbine load is suddenly reduced according to fluctuation of system frequency, or the like during general operation. SOLUTION: A control device 40 performs, when a sudden reduction in turbine load of a fixed level or more occurs during general operation, control for opening feed water pump drive turbine adjustable valves 24a and 24b of a steam pipe 23 and also opening a high-pressure turbine bypass valve 27 of a high-pressure turbine bypass steam pipe 26, whereby control for opening a low-temperature reheated steam shutoff valve 29 of a steam pipe 28 is performed when the opening of the adjustable valves 24a and 24b becomes a fixed level or more and the opening of the bypass valve 27 is a fixed level or more.
