Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recording a multilayer record carrier, and especially a dual layer recordable DVD disc, in such a way that it can be reproduced in DVD-ROM players without errors. SOLUTION: The method of recording information on the multilayer record carrier. The record carrier has first and second information layers for storing information. The size of an information area on the first information layer is substantially same as that of the second information layer. The information is recorded so that the areas overlap each other.
