LOST-WAX ELECTROFORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more surely and easily manufacturing a metal hollow body, in which a cavity is formed. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a metal hollow body includes: a step for forming a copper film 6 on the surface of a base material 2 in which a groove 3 filled with wax 5 is formed by electroplating; a step for forming a silver film on a plane including the surface of the wax 5 by electroless plating; a step for removing the silver film except the groove part by grinding; a step for forming a repairing bridging plating layer 31 by electroplating; a step for electroforming a metal layer on the layer 31; and a step for removing wax 5 from the base material 2. The metal hollow body in which a cavity is formed can be more easily manufactured. By such a lost wax electroforming method, the formation of pinholes in the repairing bridging plating layer 31 is prevented more surely, and the metal hollow body can be manufactured more surely.
