Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release wire preventing an outer tube from being removed from a connection part, when the connection part is composed of resin material for preventing generation of rust in a connector. SOLUTION: The release wire used for a remote-control drain plug device is composed of: the cylindrical outer tube equipped with rigidity in the axial direction and flexibility in the side surface direction; an inner wire equipped with rigidity in the axial direction and flexibility in the side surface direction for slidably moving in the outer tube; a flange provided to an end part of the outer tube and having a rotation preventing structure; and the connection part locked to the flange to make the outer tube unremovable and mounted to be unrotatable around a shaft of the outer tube by the rotation preventing structure of the flange for connecting the outer tube to other members of the remote control drain plug device.
