PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Obi hardly causing wrinkles, showing both right and left patterns thereof in appropriate places, and enabling satisfactory tying even by using any pattern as a drum bow part. SOLUTION: This Obi 1 is so designed that a longitudinal size is made longer than usual by using a combination as the material, patterns and designs different in right and left areas in the longitudinal direction are formed, and a change in the right and left patterns 11 and 12 is made by setting as a boundary 2, a place which passes a center Y of the longitudinal direction of the Obi 1 and a center M of the width direction, and is made by inclinedly tying an interval between both side rims 1a and 1b of the Obi 1.
