POWER-ASSISTED CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-assisted carrier having excellent operability capable of easily changing a direction. SOLUTION: The power-assisted carrier comprises at least a pair of right and left driven wheels provided at a lower side of a pedestal part, a pair of right and left driving wheels provided at the lower side of the pedestal part, two motors provided corresponding to each of the pair of driving wheels, a control device for controlling the two motors, and a handle operational unit provided at a predetermined part of a casing. The handle operational unit comprises a bar-shaped elastically deformable member which is arranged along the vertical direction with one end thereof fixed to the casing side, two sets of strain sensors which are affixed to side surfaces of the elastically deformable member opposite to each other in different directions, and a grip part provided on an end of the elastically deformable member.
