Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base film for hydraulic transfer printing, which is excellent in transfer printability and in dissolvability or dispersibility of polyvinyl alcohol-based film, and improved in the productivity. SOLUTION: In the base film for hydraulic transfer printing including polyvinyl the alcohol-based film, the polyvinyl alcohol-based film includes: a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin (A1), in which the viscosity in 4 wt.% aqueous solution at 20°C is 15-50 mPa s; and a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin (A2), in which the viscosity in 4 wt.% aqueous solution at 20°C is 1-10 mPa s.
