DOUBLE OPENING BINDING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double opening binding tool in which side boards having binding pestles and binding tubes are easily and smoothly attached and detached, and are surely kicked out. SOLUTION: In the double opening binding tool, a substrate 1 fixed on the spine of a board has side board support bodies 2 on both ends in the longitudinal direction, via which a pair of the right and left side boards 3 with the binding pestles 30 or binding tubes 31 for inserting the binding pestles 30 into, respectively, are detachably provided fixed on the tool. The side board support bodies 2 include: a pivot shaft 10 on the side of the proximal end; engaging bodies 21 provided in a manner rotatable outward toward both the sides of the substrate 1 by springs 20 which bias the leading ends inward and engage the engaging portions 32 provided on the side boards 3; and also side board kick-out bodies 22 provided adjacent to the proximal ends. The surface shapes of the side board kick-out bodies 22 allow the engaging portions 32 to be released from the engagement with the engaging bodies 21 during the outward rotation, of the side board support bodies 2 abut the bottom ends of the side boards 3, move outward, and then move upward.
