Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical semiconductor device easily which has small variance in chrominance and maintains high luminance, to provide a sheet for optical semiconductor element sealing used for the manufacturing method, and to provide the optical semiconductor device obtained by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the optical semiconductor device is characterized in that the sheet for optical semiconductor element sealing, formed by laminating a first peelable sheet and a second sheet containing a wavelength converting material on the first sheet directly or indirectly, is laminated on an optical semiconductor element with a sealing resin interposed therebetween so that the first sheet is an outermost layer, and after carrying out compression molding using a metal mold from above, the first sheet is peeled off from the molded sheet for optical semiconductor element sealing.
