Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator which can be enhanced in productivity by achieving high-density packing of a conductive high polymer and securing continuity of the conductive high polymer, thereby improving electric characteristics such as impedance characteristics, especially, equivalent series resistance (hereinafter ESR); and to provide a solid electrolytic capacitor using the separator. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to: the separator for the solid electrolytic capacitor formed by interposing and winding a separator between an anode foil and a cathode foil, and holding the conductive high polymer as a solid electrolyte layer after carbonizing the separator, the separator containing 50% by weight of natural cellulose fiber, 10 to 40% by weight of heat-resistive fiber of ≥450°C in thermal decomposition point, and a predetermined amount of a binder; and the solid electrolytic capacitor using the separator.
