SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the battery material, (a) a precursor solution containing alkoxy silane or silicate and (b) a tin compound and/or an iron compound are mixed and the alkoxy silane or silicate is hydrolyzed to make zol. It is preferable that the precursor solution includes alcohol and water prepared in acid in addition to alkoxy silane or silicate.
