Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can perform, even when imaging a small component by use of a long one-dimensional imaging device which can respond to imaging of a large component, the imaging near the center of an optical system while attaining a short processing time. SOLUTION: The imaging device includes: a light receiving element array 121; a shift register 122 which outputs charged generated by each light receiving element to an output part; a shift gate 123 which permits/prohibits the transfer of the charges generated by each light emitting element to the shift register 122; an optical system 125; a first light shielding means 130a including two light shielding plates 131 disposed with a predetermined space to shield light at both ends of the light receiving array 121; a second light shielding means 130b including two light shielding plates 131 disposed with a predetermined space to have a light shielding range differed from the first light shielding means 130a, and a switching means 137 which switches the first light shielding means 130a and the second light shielding means 130b to change the light shielding range of the light receiving element array 121.
