Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of attaining enhancement of engine output and improvement of exhaust gas characteristics while suppressing increase of size and weight of the engine and increase of cost. SOLUTION: The engine 1 has a combustion chamber 4 surrounded/formed by a cylinder bore 3 and a piston apex surface 24 of a piston 9 reciprocated between a top dead center and a bottom dead center in the cylinder bore 3.
