PAPER LOST STATE DETECTING DEVICE IN OVD STICKING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting a paper lost state in an OVD (optically variable device) sticking machine for carrying paper by a stream feeder system. SOLUTION: This OVD sticking machine carries at least two or more of paper sheets carried by the stream feeder system to an OVD sticking unit in a continuously overlapped state on a carrier table. The lost state detecting device of the OVD sticking machine includes at least a detecting means for detecting a lost state of a lateral front end part and a lateral rear end part of the paper sheets when carrying the paper sheet, in the vicinity of both right-left end parts of paper to the paper flowing direction of the carrier table and in a position being substantially vertical to the paper sheets carried in the continuously overlapped state, a determining means for comparing and determining the paper lost state detected by the detecting means with a predetermined threshold value, and a control means for controlling the OVD sticking machine by a result provided by the determining means.
