Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device having round blades which easily bite into a medium to be recorded and are improved in durability against cutting. SOLUTION: This recording device (1) is provided with: a cutter unit 30 which moves in the lateral direction X of the medium (P) to be fed; a guide part (25) for guiding the cutter unit 30, and round blades (37, 38) which are provided to the cutter unit 30 and cut the medium (P). The edges of the round blades (37, 38) are ground in the directions (H1, H2) crossing the circumferential directions of the round blades (37, 38), and the surface roughness thereof comes within the range of 3.2-12.5S.
