PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which attachability and detachability of a dust collecting bag are improved without complicating a configuration. SOLUTION: The dust collecting bag 34 is attachable to and detachable from a body lid 45 for openably and closably closing an opening 44 communicating with a body dust collecting chamber 33 communicating with the suction side of an electric blower 27. By closing the opening 44 by the body lid 45, the dust collecting bag 34 is housed in the body dust collecting chamber 33. The attachability and detachability of the dust collecting bag 34 are improved compared to the case of attaching the dust collecting bag to the body dust collecting chamber without incurring complication of the configuration due to increase in the number of components or the like.
