SPOOL TO BE USED IN REEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool of lightweightness or inexpensiveness as possible as practicable while securing its own rigidity. SOLUTION: The spool incorporated in a reel and functioning to reel fishline is provided, being such that: both ends thereof in the shaft length direction have each a circular part 24 larger in outer diameter than the barrel body 22 between both the ends. The spool includes a spool body 25 made by integratedly molding at least one circular part 24 and the barrel body 22 of a fiber reinforcing resin; wherein the spool body is such that; at least the central part in the shaft length direction of the barrel body 22, in terms of the structure of the barrel body alone, has a high-strength parts P0' and t2 more resistant to crushing-to-flatness than those of any zones biased toward the any ends of the barrel body.
